It’s Tuesday. A couple weeks ago I started building the LEGO 1966 Batmobile. I posted a photo back then showing the progress I’d made, which at the time was mostly just the basic frame of the car. Since then, quite a bit more has come together, so I figured it was time for another update.
In today’s photo you can see the frame has been reinforced and I’ve started building up the underbody of the car. The rear section has also been strengthened and is finally beginning to resemble the shape of the classic 1966 Batmobile. There’s actually a lot more work involved here than it might appear at first glance, but so far I’m really enjoying the build.
Next up is continuing work on the body panels, and by the next photo update the iconic Batmobile shape should be much more recognizable.
