It’s Friday! Heavy smoke from the Canadian wildfires has once again drifted into the United States, creating some pretty unhealthy air quality across much of the Midwest. Here in Illinois’ southwest suburbs, you can definitely smell the smoke when you step outside. It feels like we’re getting an unwanted replay of last year, when the haze hung around for more than a week. Hopefully Mother Nature clears things out a little faster this time.
As for me, I’m still running a fever, so tomorrow I’ll be meeting with my doctors to figure out what the next step is. At this point, I’m open to just about any treatment plan… as long as it doesn’t involve another hospital admission. One eight-day stay was more than enough, thank you.
On a much lighter note, it’s finally Friday! That means it’s time for another reader-submitted amateur photo, along with the usual double dose of babes and double dose of jokes to kick off the weekend. Enjoy!
