It’s Friday! It has been a bit gloomy around here lately, so I’m really hoping Mother Nature decides to cooperate and give us some sunshine for Cruise Night this Saturday in Morris, Illinois. After days of gray skies, a warm summer evening filled with chrome, rumbling engines, and the smell of good food sounds exactly like what I need.

Oh, and there seems to be an issue with the background image not being displayed. I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m aware of the problem.

I thought this might be of some use to you for your website. We live east of metro Atlanta in a small rural county and had a family of foxes move into a little space under our front porch. We found this company, Beaver Busters. They came out and filled in the hole at the entrance to our porch.

It’s Wednesday. Had a good visit at the wound clinic yesterday. Now that the infection has finally cleared up, I’m officially done with the IV infusions and antibiotics. Even better, the doc (that’s him on the right) said the wound has healed enough that I could finally ditch the Wound-Vac that’s been attached to my hip ever since surgery on June 18.

As if that wasn’t enough good news, he also cut my wound clinic visits from twice a week down to just one! That’s a huge win because I’m beyond tired of making that 40-minute drive two times a week.

At this rate, I might actually remember what it’s like to have a normal life again.
