It’s Wednesday. I don’t know why, but I absolutely love these things. Maybe it’s the sheer wrongness of throwing completely different songs together and somehow making them work. This glorious collision of ’70s and ’80s rock comes courtesy of the mad genius of remixer Bill McClintock. He throws ELO’s “Evil Woman,” Dokken’s “Dream Warriors,” Def Leppard’s “Foolin’,” and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Suicide Solution” into the musical blender and somehow produces one ridiculously seamless song. Then he pours on a little of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “That Smell” just to make things even more interesting. This musical Frankenstein stitched together a bunch of spare parts and somehow it not only works, but it rocks!
