Gone, Baby, Gone

It’s Thursday. Well, crap. Today, we gather with heavy hearts and empty snack bowls to mourn the passing of a true legend… Taco-flavored Doritos.

Taken from us far too soon (and without so much as a proper goodbye), they were more than just a chip. They were a bold, unapologetic crunch of nostalgia—a perfect fusion of nacho ambition and taco night dreams. They didn’t just sit in the pantry… they called to us. Late at night. In moments of weakness and greatness alike.

They were there for us. During road trips. During bad days. During “I shouldn’t eat the whole bag… but I will” moments. They never judged. They never held back.

We’ll remember the unmistakable scent that hit the moment the bag opened. The orange dust that clung to our fingers like a badge of honor. The way they somehow tasted even better when you weren’t supposed to be eating them.

In a world full of blandness, Taco Doritos dared to be different. And for that, we are forever grateful.

Rest in peace, you glorious triangle of joy.

Please join me for a brief moment of silence… gone, but never forgotten.
