It’s Wednesday. As I mentioned before, every October the girlfriend and I have a little tradition—we hop in the car and cruise around checking out Halloween displays. Usually, we just wander from one neighborhood to the next, letting the decorations guide us. Last year, though, I stumbled across a free app called FrightMaps, which highlights all the best displays in your area. It uses a Google Maps-style layout, so you can easily spot the spooky places and navigate right to them. If you’re into all things creepy, it’s definitely worth a download.

Full Size Candy Bars
It’s Thursday. When I was a kid, Trick-Or-Treating was all about speed and the pursuit of full-sized candy bars. The goal was to get to as many houses as possible in the allotted time and collect as many full-sized candy bars as humanly possible. The problem was, there wasn’t a whole lot of time and you never knew what people were handing out. If we only had something like this back then.
