It’s Wednesday. Mustang fans are in for a treat today! One of my readers attended a car show in Burr Ridge, Illinois, and brought back some serious Mustang eye candy. And these are not your everyday ponies either—we have the Mustang GTD and a Mustang Super Snake! Enjoy the photos!

I hit the Burr Ridge, Illinois car show today. Lots of Corvettes, muscle cars, Ferraris and a couple of amazing Mustangs. I’m a Chevy guy but I do love Mustangs (especially the way they sound).

It’s Tuesday. My girlfriend was out running errands the other day when she spotted this Jeep and just had to snap a photo for me—she knew it would make me laugh. And she was right. The owner could’ve stopped at one skeleton, which would’ve been perfectly acceptable. But no, this person understood that two skeletons were the right call. Double the bones, double the fun. You’ve got to admire that kind of commitment to spooky excellence.

It’s Monday. It was another picture-perfect weekend here in Illinois. We had mid-eighties, blue skies, and not a cloud in sight. The girlfriend and I took the Corvette out on Saturday to soak up the incredible top-down weather. Along the way, we stumbled upon a Halloween display that stopped us in our tracks: the Demogorgon from Stranger Things locked in battle with—of all things—Godzilla. I get the Halloween tie-in with the Demogorgon, but Godzilla? I didn’t even know you could buy an inflatable Godzilla. And let’s be honest, if these two ever did meet, there’s definitely a serious scale issue to work out.

On Sunday, we cruised down to Mahomet to spend the day with the girlfriend’s family for her mom’s birthday. There was plenty of good food, good drinks, and, of course, cake—a winning combination in my book. Everyone had a great time.

And that was it. One hell of a fast weekend.
