It’s Monday. A bunch of my girlfriend’s family came into town on Saturday. We all got together for the afternoon at Merichka’s Restaurant in Crest Hill, Illinois. Merichka’s is very well known for their Poorboys and have been serving them up since 1933. I’ve been there many, many times and never once ordered anything else. They’re just so damn good. Anyway, we all had a really good time and left the restaurant with full bellies. Afterward some of the group came back to our place and hung out for a while. It was a good time.

Our Sunday was the complete opposite. We got up late, did very little of anything, and just hung around the house. Played with the dog, watched the race at Watkins Glen, and had leftover Poorboys! Not a bad way to balance out the weekend.
