It’s Wednesday. Well, damn. After a few very summer-like days of toasty weather, it took a huge dive and replaced the sun with heavy rain. It was nice while it lasted.

Okay, I know that I usually feature reader submitted amateur photos on Friday, but these are a bit different. How? Well, I received these (that’s right, a pair!) a while back and they arrived with no background information. I don’t ask for much detail when featuring the amateur photos, but I usually like to have something. I sent emails requesting just a little background info, but they all went unanswered. So, instead of letting them go to waste, I decided to share them anyway.

It’s Monday. That was a good weekend. It was a little nasty on Friday due to a flood of wildfire smoke that came down from our friends in Canada. At least I hope we’re still friends. Our current administration is sure doing everything in their power to screw it up. Anyway, it has finally warmed up here in Illinois and we’re looking at the 90s for the next couple days. That certainly puts a big smile on my face.

Been eating high on the hog lately from fancy restaurants to grilling out. I love dining outdoors and nothing beats some good steaks on the grill.

The girlfriend had a good trip to Cleveland, Ohio, over the weekend. I had a good time mostly just screwing around, gaming and eating way too much. She got back a little early on Sunday, so we were able to enjoy the afternoon outside together. Now I think I’ll get back to watching the Nascar race in Nashville.
