It’s Wednesday. Since 2021, the Tesla Plaid has been busy embarrassing pretty much anything that lines up next to it—gas or electric—in the quarter mile. Now, here comes the 2026 Corvette ZR1X. Packing Chevrolet’s LT7 twin-turbo V8 in the middle and an electric motor up front, it delivers a combined 1,250 horsepower. Oh—and it rips from 0 to 60 in a ridiculous 1.68 seconds.
