It’s Monday. We finally had a day that actually felt like Spring. On Saturday Mother Nature decided to not be such an incessant bitch and allowed the clouds to part and the temperature to rise. I got a new book a few weeks ago that I was saving for a warm sunny day, so I grabbed it and headed outside into the sun. It was truly a nice day and I enjoyed every last minute of it.
Of course, Sunday was gloomy and extremely windy. Other than taking Abby out to play ball, I stayed indoors watching the Nascar race in Bristol, Tennessee, while the girlfriend was baking a lemon cake. The race was good, but the lemon cake was fantastic!
Easter is coming up so I have a fresh bag of malted Robin Eggs to dig into. Thankfully they cost far less than actual eggs. And as far as I know, there are not specific tariffs on them yet. Or wait, yes there are. Wait, now they’re off. Whoops, they’re back on again. Nope, they’re back off. Wait…
