It’s Monday. Had a nice lazy Sunday yesterday watching the Bears game while snacking on Christmas goodies. One of the things that I like best about the holidays is all the homemade goods like potica, cookies, lefsa, pumpkin roll, pies, fudge, and pizzelles. Out of all of those the only one I missed this year was fudge. Normally we get more than we can eat but this year it was strangely absent.

This should be a quiet week for me as most of my clients are closed until after the new year. A little time off sounds pretty good to me.

It’s Sunday! And it’s done. I hope everyone had a decent Christmas. Mine was good but it was much smaller than usual. It was a little sad because there were several family members with Covid that couldn’t attend, so that changed things quite a bit. Still, we managed to have a good time and ate way too much!

Next up is another new year… 2022!

It’s Saturday! Merry Christmas everyone. Here in Illinois we’re having some very non-seasonal weather again with temperatures in the upper 50s and some rain. That means no white Christmas for us. The horrid white stuff is coming, for certain, just not today.

I hope everyone has a good Christmas. Spend it with family and friends if you can. With all the crap going on these days it feels good to slow down, relax, and take it easy for a while. Enjoy.
