Wishy-Washy

It’s Monday. Went to a cookout on Saturday and the weather was pretty nasty with nothing but rain, thunder, and lightning all day. So, the cookout had to transform into a cook-in. It really didn’t matter because the food was fantastic and everyone had a good time.

Sunday started out the same way but cleared up in the afternoon. I didn’t have anything going on, so I played around with Abby and watched the Nascar race at Watkins Glen. However, it was raining at the track. Nascar doesn’t generally run in the rain, but road courses like the Glen are an exception. The race started out in the rain but was stopped due to flooding in several areas of the track. Fortunately the rain soon cleared up and the majority of the race was run under dry conditions. It’s fun to see them race in the rain because it gets pretty chaotic, but there ends up being so many cautions that the race drags on forever. Anyway, it was a fun and competitive race to watch. Kyle Larson ended up taking the checkers, as he also did the day before. Next up is the last race of the regular season—Daytona!

Time to get back to work…

A Feast For Your Eyeballs

It’s Friday! Is that not a gorgeous machine or what? I found this beautiful C8 Corvette in Red Mist Metallic at the weekly Tuesday night car show in Plainfield, IL. There were all kinds of automotive goodness at the show and you’ll be able to see a few of my favorites in the gallery below. Sadly, summer is quickly coming to a close and next Tuesday will be the last of the Plainfield show for the season. There are a few other car shows that I hope to check out before the weather turns, like the big Corvette gathering in Effingham, Illinois, in mid September. Definitely looking forward to that one.

So lets wrap this week up with the automotive goodness gallery below, double babes, and double jokes… enjoy!
