Peterbuilt Pontoon

It’s Thursday. I don’t know how I managed to miss this, but apparently a fellow by the name of Scott Carder built his own Peterbilt pontoon boat back in 2023, and somehow it completely flew under my radar. I just stumbled across it for the first time and I’ve got to admit, it’s one of the coolest custom builds I’ve seen in a while. Carder started with the cab and hood from a Peterbilt 379 and mounted it on a 22-foot tritoon, creating what looks like a full-blown semi truck that’s somehow cruising across the lake instead of barreling down the interstate. Even better, it’s fully decked out with working lights and a custom interior, proving this wasn’t just some backyard joke that accidentally floated. According to Carder, he wasn’t even sure if it would work when he started—his plan was basically, “It’ll either sink or float.” Thankfully, it floats… and it does it with a whole lot of style!
