Automotive Goodness

It’s Friday! The Fall Classic is one of my favorite car shows of the year, and it’s also the last big outdoor automotive event before the season comes to a close. Held every year in early October, this show features just about anything and everything on wheels. Of course, the weather this time of year can be a bit of a gamble. You might get sunshine and pleasant temperatures, or you could find yourself battling high winds, rain, snow, and downright miserable conditions. Fortunately, Mother Nature was in a generous mood this year, treating us to brilliant sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s. It was an absolutely gorgeous day to wander around and soak up all that automotive goodness.

So, why am I just getting around to sharing these photos? Well, October had a little something called Spooky Season, and I spent the entire month filling the website with Halloween-related goodies. The photos from the Fall Classic would just have to wait. But hey, better late than never, right? You’ll find a bunch of my favorites in the gallery below.

Unfortunately, the end is near. This Sunday, NASCAR heads to Homestead, Florida, for the final race of the 2026 season, where a champion will be crowned. Once the checkered flag waves, NASCAR goes into hibernation until February, leaving a rather large hole in my Sunday afternoon entertainment. Thankfully, the Chicago Bears have been having one heck of a season, so that’ll fill in nicely.

A few of you have also been asking about my health, so I figured it was time for a quick update. I’m now several weeks out from surgery and, thankfully, making good progress. Since the infection had made its way into the bone, I’m still receiving daily IV antibiotic infusions. Not exactly how I’d prefer to spend my days, but it’s a whole lot better than being stuck in the hospital. For now, it’s one day at a time and hopefully more progress with each passing week.

Enjoy the Fall Classic gallery, along with the double babes and double jokes. Because what’s better than one babe or one joke? Two, of course!
