It’s Thursday. The guys at WD Detailing have stumbled upon what may very well be the lowest-mileage 1982 Corvette Collector’s Edition on the planet! And when I say low mileage, I’m talking about an unbelievable 33 original miles on the odometer! This rare barn-find Vette has been sitting untouched for 42 years, and it’s certainly showing its age. Covered in decades of dirt, dust, debris, and even mold, it’s about to get its first proper cleaning since rolling off the showroom floor.
The transformation starts with a serious pressure washing of the exterior, followed by a thorough hand wash, clay bar treatment, and paint polishing to bring back that long-lost shine. Then it’s time to tackle the interior, where a complete detail and some serious mold removal are in order. Watching a nearly untouched piece of Corvette history get brought back to life is pretty darn satisfying. What a truly incredible find!
