The July Morris Cruise Night

It’s Wednesday. Today it’s all about automotive goodness from last weekend’s Cruise Night in Morris, Illinois. They had plenty of customs, classics, and just about everything in-between. Here are a few of my favorites from the show.

Squeaky Clean

It’s Tuesday. One of my readers sent in a few photos of a beautiful new Stingray C8 that was getting cleaned up at a dealership in Ontario, Canada. I’ve never worked at a dealership before, but if it was my job to wash the Corvettes that come in, I’d probably do it for free. Thanks for taking the time to send these in, Paul!

Hi Keep,

Seen in the wash at the dealership I work at in the GWN, Ontario, Canada (NOT the 51st. State).

Another Monday

It’s Monday. The weekend went by rather quickly. I noticed that happens when I sleep-in until nearly 11am. Probably just a coincidence though.

Saturday night the girlfriend and I went out to Morris, Illinois, to grab some dinner and catch their July Cruise Night car show. The weather was somewhat mild with temperatures only around 81 degrees, so I was expecting a record turnout. I checked the stats on their Facebook page and there were 679 registered cars. That’s not bad, but usually the count is closer to 800. It was still a fantastic show with a huge variety of automotive goodness. I’ll put together a gallery of my favorites sometime during the week.

Sunday was nice and laid back, just the way I like it. Got lots of sun, did some reading, played with Abby in the yard, and now I’m watching the race in Sonoma that I recorded earlier. Not a bad summer weekend!
