It’s Friday! We just had a taste of summer yesterday when temperatures soared into the 80s! It was so very nice for this time of the year here in Illinois. The sounds of people, cars, and motorcycles filled the air. Another unusual sound for this time of year could also be heard, the familiar whine of air conditioners from people seeking relief from the heat. Not me. I soaked up every bit of sunshine I could. Hopefully, we’ll see more of this in the remaining days of April and into May.
Nascar is at my favorite track this weekend, the Talladega Superspeedway! Fast and dangerous—you know where I’ll be Sunday afternoon!
In keeping with the warmer weather, I thought some automotive goodness would be appropriate. It’s still a bit early for car shows here, so I dug up some favorites from Cruise Nights in Morris, Illinois. Enjoy the classic cars as well as the double babes & jokes!
