It’s Friday! Here in Illinois the weather is changing. It has been steadily getting cooler and this weekend our high temperature will only be in the 50s. That’s a 30-degree drop from just last weekend. It won’t be much longer and we’ll be getting our first frost. I’m not ready for this.
Every Friday I like to feature the amateur photos that you guys send in. Add in double babes & double jokes and I think you have a great combo to wrap up the week with. Enjoy!

Keep, I am a long time fan. I recently asked my wife if she would go along with a picture for your website. She disappeared for a short time and reappeared with a freshly trimmed bush. Use the picture but we prefer to remain anonymous. Thanks! -Anonymous
What’s Old Is New
It’s Monday. Some of you will remember our cat, Marilynn. We got her from the Humane Society back in 2006. She was pure white and despite being a being quite a handful, we loved her for over 15 years.
In 2007 I had purchased a 1/12 scale model of a white 1958 Corvette convertible off eBay and placed it atop my giant projection TV (hey, they were cool back then!). Marilynn, being a cat, jumped up there to check it out and promptly nudged it right off of the TV. It came crashing down and was a total loss. These things go for $150 on eBay, so I wasn’t happy.
Anyway, the girlfriend and I were at a craft show & flea market last weekend and to my surprise, there was a 1/12th scale 1958 Corvette convertible that was for sale. This one was brand new and exactly the same as my previous one, except this one was teal in color. I asked how much they wanted for it. They said it was marked $20, but would take $15. I looked up and said SOLD!
Well, I no longer have that giant TV and Marilynn crossed the rainbow bridge back in 2021. However, many years later I got my car back. And I think about Marilynn every time I see it.
