It’s Monday. Well, congratz to the Eagles and all their fans for their dominating win in Super Bowl LIX. I was hoping that the Chiefs would be able to pull off the 3-peat, but it didn’t take long to realize that wasn’t going happen. No question, it was a rough game for the Chiefs. It was like someone secretly replaced the entire Chiefs team with the Chicago Bears! It would have been nice to see a well matched competitive game, but there’s always next year, eh?

Super Bowl commercials. I generally see the majority of the Super Bowl commercials prior to the big game. However, this year I somehow missed taking a sneak peek. No matter, it was fun seeing them old-school style along with the game. Overall I thought this year’s crop of commercials were just okay. There were a few that I thought stood out from the rest, like the Doritos commercial with the guy vs. alien tractor beam. Another favorite was the Pringles commercial with Eugene Levy’s eyebrows. And lastly, the Jeep commercial with Harrison Ford was pretty good.

Anyway, now that the Super Bowl is in the rearview mirror, that means the Daytona 500 is next Sunday! Woohoo!

It’s Friday! Call the friends, get out the munchies, and put on the big game because it’s Super Bowl weekend! I’m looking forward to watching the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in SB LIX on Sunday. I’m not really a fan of either team, but I think it would be really cool if the Chiefs could pull off a three-peat!

Rain, freezing rain, and snow… that’s our weather lately. I’ll be glad when we get past February and start warming things up for good. In the meantime, I might have to take a spin down to Florida for a while.
