It’s Monday. It was a damn chilly weekend but now we have a bunch of the horrid white stuff moving in. It sounds like the Chicagoland area is in for five to nine inches of the nasty stuff starting this afternoon. And just to make it interesting, toss in gusty winds of 35 mph. Thankfully, I work from home and the girlfriend has the next two days off, so the timing isn’t bad.
With it being so cold, we made some chili and watched a few movies. The movies were a mix of old and new. The Producers, The Birdcage, Snowden, The History of Swear Words, Bill Burr: I’m Sorry You Feel That Way, and Some Kind of Wonderful. I can’t even remember what it was like going to the theater to see movies.
I can’t believe the Muscle Car Museum in Punta Gorda, Florida, is now closed. Over the weekend the majority of the inventory was auctioned off by Mecum Auctions and the facility closed for good. I had a lot of fun out there, especially at the weekly car shows they hosted in the parking lot. Gonna miss those.

Where’s Bernie?
Montana Auto Goodness
It’s Tuesday. Here in Illinois the snow is falling and we’re still several months away from spring. So, in an effort to forget about the frigid conditions outside, I thought it would be cool to revisit a better time and place—like Evergreen, Montana, in the summer of 2017. And what better way to enjoy a beautiful late summer day than at a car show? A special thanks goes out to PJ, a reader who was kind enough to share his photos from the show. Enjoy!

Hi Keep, It’s been a while since I sent anything in and after noticing some other car shows featured after the fact, I thought this would be a good time to bring another out. In 2017 we drove over to Evergreen, Montana for a classic car show. Not sure if I’ve been to any other shows with such an eclectic mix of vehicles. Of course in Montana there’s going to be some interesting trucks (like the dually beer can smasher) and other surprises. The ’52 Pontiac (“Oh, The Memories”) was probably my favorite of all. Feel free to use all, any, or none. Thanks for “Keeping” us going through the pandemic and other craziness! -PJ
