4-Wheel Toys

It’s Thursday. How about we get back to some of my reader’s summer toys submissions. After featuring so many toys of the 2-wheel variety, it’s good to see this pair of 4-wheel toys! These belong to Shane who obviously likes some muscle in his summer toys. On the left is a 2013 ZL1 Camaro convertible and a 2008 GT500 Mustang Shelby on the right that has been signed by Carrol Shelby. That’s a hell of a pair, Shane. Thanks for letting me share them with the rest of my readers!

Count those fingers!

It’s Tuesday. I hope everyone had a good 4th of July. The girlfriend and I took the Vette out for a day trip to Michigan. We originally planned to go up to Galena, Illinois, but at the last minute we decided that we wanted to be by the water. So, we took off to Michigan and drove up the east coast of Lake Michigan. Our first stop was in New Buffalo where we checked out the beach. With it being a holiday, there were people and boats everywhere. Lots of money out here. If you find yourself in New Buffalo then I highly suggest that you grab some grub & drinks up on the roof of the Stray Dog restaurant. The food is good and the view is spectacular.

After taking it easy for a while, we decided to continue up the lakefront to St. Joseph. This is my favorite town in Michigan. There’s always plenty going on in St. Joseph and the beach is just fantastic. I’d like to see more restaurants on the lakefront but that’s probably the only suggestion I can think of. It’s a beautiful place, the people are very nice, and you really can’t beat their beach. After hanging out at the beach enjoying our dinner, it was time to turn the Vette southward and begin our journey back home. Had a really great day… can’t wait to get back out there again!
