It’s Monday. The weekend was pretty much a washout for those of us in Illinois. Not only did we get a shit-ton of rain, we also had some severe storms as well. We didn’t get any damage in our neighborhood but we had something I’ve never experienced before—continuous thunder. It was thunder layered on top of thunder over and over again. At first we feared that we were mistaking the sound for an approaching tornado, but it literally went on for roughly 20 minutes. Even weirder was when it stopped. It was almost like someone turned off a switch. There were a few rumbles afterward but that was it… done.

And it was rain in Dover, Delaware, that caused the race at the Monster Mile to be postponed to today.
