It’s Sunday! It’s that time of the year again when we honor our Mom. It doesn’t have to be much, just let her know that you appreciate everything she’s done. Some flowers, a card, or even just a phone call goes a long way.

I got some flowers and I’m heading out to a local country club for brunch with my Mom and a few others in the family.  We used to do this every year but this will be our first time back after skipping the last two years due to the pandemic. Some good food and family—should be a good day.

It’s Saturday! Hot damn tamale, baby! Kiss frontman Paul Stanley is putting his custom 2022 Corvette convertible up for auction at Barrett-Jackson’s upcoming Las Vegas event. It comes in Red Mist Metallic over a Saddle interior and Pewter wheels. It also happens to be VIN0001, the first C8 convertible to leave the factory for the 2022 model year. As if the car isn’t enough, Paul is also throwing in an autographed copy of his iconic Ibanez PS120 signature guitar. It all happens at The Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas event which starts on June 30, 2022.

If I had the money this would be the exact color and options I’d order! So if any of you want to purchase it and gift it to me, I’d be eternally grateful! Hell, I’d even be willing to trade my website for it!

It’s Friday! We have more rain in the forecast for today but there’s a huge change coming for us next week. They claim Illinois will warm up into the 80s starting Monday. It seems too good to be true, so I’m not going to get overly excited just yet.

Well, it’s Mother’s Day this Sunday so if you’re lucky enough to still have her in your life, be sure to let her know how much you care this Sunday. You can’t go wrong with flowers, so that’s my plan. Anything nice smelling, bright, and colorful should be perfect.
