The Beach

It’s Monday. Life is good in Panama City Beach. This is a view of the beach far below our condo. The weather has been nothing but clear blue skies with temperatures in the low 80s. I really couldn’t ask for better weather. Today I’m looking forward to having some seafood. Maybe some shrimp or grouper… or both!

It was so nice outside, I was able to watch the Nascar Talladega race from out on the balcony yesterday. I had some munchies, a margarita, and plenty of sun while enjoying the race. And what a race it was! Chase Elliott, son of Bill Elliott, took the checkers in a rare Talladega race that was free of massive carnage. Just good racing and a hell of a lot speed. Wish they all could be that exciting.

Okay, it’s October so it’s time to dial up the creepy.

Friday Goodness

It’s Friday! I’m heading down to Panama City Beach this weekend to enjoy some sun & seafood. Thankfully, that part of Florida was well out of range of hurricane Ian. Unfortunately Fort Myers and surrounding areas weren’t so lucky. Our friends in Punta Gorda are okay but they’re part of the nearly 3 million currently without power. It’s certainly going to take a while to get everything cleaned up and repaired.

Okay, let’s wrap this week up right with some amateur goodness. And not just one, but three amateur photos! And that’s not all. Instead of the usual Friday double babes & double jokes, I decided to go with a full gallery of babes and and a bunch of jokes as well. Enjoy and keep sending in your amateur photos!

Creative Architecture

It’s Thursday. Been watching some of the footage of hurricane Ian on the Weather Channel as it made landfall near Fort Myers. It was weird seeing reporters in Punta Gorda where we’ve spent so much time over the past decade. We have friends there who made the decision to stay when Ian was predicted to hit Tampa, but when it took a turn toward Fort Myers it was already too late to evacuate. Thankfully they are doing well in a high rise condo but have no power.

Anyway, I came across these creative architecture photos recently and was impressed. They were created by artist Robin Yayla and I put ten of the images into a gallery below. Take a look, I think you’ll enjoy them.
