Out My Window

It’s Wednesday. Woke up this morning to a yard covered in the horrid white stuff. It had snowed through the night and deposited enough to cover the grass. The ground hasn’t frozen yet so it didn’t stick to the roads. And by late afternoon the majority of it had melted. More is inevitably waiting just around the corner.

One of my Costa Rican readers was kind enough to send in the photo featured today. He asks if it makes me feel any better—and my answer is a big-fat unequivocal no! If I have to deal with freezing temps and snow then so should everyone! Now excuse me, I have to go dig out my gloves and a heavy scarf.

Bigfoot Sighting!

It’s Tuesday. Yes, Big Foot is real and and he’s trying to raise breast cancer awareness in Tennessee. Or, now that I take a closer look, this sasquatch might be a female or possibly a cross dresser. Either way, strange things are afoot in Tennessee.

Oh, and he’s very patriotic as well!

Keep, A socially conscious Big Foot, but for a great purpose in southern TN. They dress him for all occasions. -Dale

The Horrid White Stuff, Already.

It’s Monday. Yep, we got our first snowfall Saturday night. It wasn’t much, just enough to partially cover the grass before it melted by morning. It was just a warning that winter is lurking just around the corner.

The girlfriend and I saw Top Gun: Maverick over the weekend. I missed it when it was in the theaters, which is a shame because the flight sequences would’ve been amazing on the big screen. Even on my 65″ plasma it was still really good.

Another weekend, another heart breaking Bears loss. Again, it was a really good game against the Lions, but in the end the Bears just couldn’t get ahead and lost by a single point. No matter how well they play, they just can’t get the win. So yeah, I’m already experiencing Nascar withdrawal symptoms. Think I’m gonna to go out into the garage and sniff some gasoline.
