It’s Friday! I really have no use for winter once Christmas is over. Before the holiday, the cold air and falling snow feel almost charming—part of the atmosphere that makes the season special. It’s easier to tolerate icy sidewalks and frosty mornings when they come wrapped in lights, decorations, and that sense of anticipation. But once Christmas passes, the magic disappears. The snow loses its sparkle, the cold stops feeling cozy, and what was once festive quickly turns into a daily annoyance. At that point, winter isn’t enchanting anymore—it’s just incredibly irritating.

I absolutely hate this stretch of the year when the Bears’ season is over and NASCAR’s pre-season action still hasn’t begun. Football is done breaking my heart, racing hasn’t fired up yet, and suddenly my Sundays have a void where sports used to be. It’s a strange kind of sports limbo—too late for football, too early for racing—where Sunday afternoons lose their rhythm and just sort of drift by, waiting for engines to finally roar back to life.

Okay, I’m aware that I’m coming off as rather bitchy today, but damn.

Anyway, how about I move on to a brighter topic—the weekend! I have another new reader submitted amateur photo featured today. There’s also the usual double babes & double jokes as well. That should do it, eh? Enjoy!
