Joined by the Lakota Drum Group, Lukas and Micah Nelson, Sierra Ferrell, Don Was, Rami Jaffee, and many more, the result is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when music brings the world together.
Playing For Change honors the timeless legacy of The Doors with a global “Riders on the Storm” Song Around The World, featuring original members Krieger and Densmore, a tribute to Ray Manzarek, and the iconic vocals of Jim Morrison. With more than 20 musicians and dancers from eight different countries, the performance celebrates the band’s 60th anniversary while reimagining a classic anthem through a shared spirit of unity and connection.
