It’s Monday. Ugh. Flipping the switch back into work mode after two weeks off is brutal. Two solid weeks of sleeping in, being gloriously lazy, and inhaling way too many holiday goodies is not a habit you just shake off—especially when you have zero desire to do so. There really should be a multi-day grace period to ease back into reality safely. Until that exists, let’s all agree this week is nothing more than a warm-up lap, and anyone expecting peak performance is wildly optimistic at best.
The Bears lost yet another heartbreaker to the Lions on Sunday. As usual, they didn’t bother showing signs of life until the fourth quarter—and by then it was too little, too late. This team isn’t built for the playoffs, and at this point, it’s painfully obvious.
Work? What’s That?
