It’s Monday. It got cold. It got very cold. When the temperature drops down to single digits outside, I’ve found that if you don’t have to be outside, then don’t. Unfortunately for the Bears and Browns, they had a game to play yesterday that will go down as one of the coldest ever played in Soldier Field. For those of us watching from the warmth of our living room, it really didn’t look all that bad because the sun was out and there wasn’t any snow. If you were foolish enough to be in the stands, then you knew the temperature was only 7 degrees with a windchill of -15. It certainly would’ve sucked to play in those conditions, but the Bears made it count, beating the Browns 31-3.
The girlfriend and I took advantage of the frigid temperatures and caught up watching some of our favorite holiday movies—Christmas Vacation, The Grinch (Animated), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Original and Jim Carrey version), Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, Klaus, Frosty the Snowman, and Krampus. We still have a few others remaining like A Wish for Wings That Work, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Year Without A Santa Claus, Elf, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, and A Christmas Carol.
Looking forward to a nice big bowl of homemade Minestrone soup tonight!
Brrr!
