It’s Tuesday. I hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. The weather was nice on Saturday, so the girlfriend and I spent the day out in the Vette. On Sunday we took a drive down to Mahomet to spend the day with her parents and sister. Had some good food down there and got home in time to watch the Southern 500 race that night. On Monday we started the day right by sleeping in. She did some cleaning indoors and baked a very tasty lemon cake. Meanwhile I spent the afternoon outside with my tunes washing the Vette. It was beautiful out there so I enjoyed every minute of it. We finished up the night watching a the movie A Haunting In Venice. Not bad.

And now? Well, it’s back to work.

It’s Monday. It’s Labor Day. As many of you know, I have no love for Labor Day. It only serves as a reminder to me that the long scorching days of summer are are coming to an end, making way for cooler nights, and the slow inevitable countdown to the holidays. Sure, there’s still Spooky season, but there’s no denying it—summer is over.
