It’s Wednesday. Vacation is nice. Started the day off by sleeping in. The weather was nice so we spent most of the afternoon out by the pool. It was quite windy, so there were monster waves on the Gulf. And by Gulf, I mean the Gulf of Mexico.

We did some driving around checking out a few different neighborhoods in the Panama City Beach area. My girlfriend is a Realtor, so she’s always interested in Real Estate, especially in areas like this. A couple hours later we decided to try a place called Schooners for dinner. It came recommended by some friends who have a place nearby. I had a spicy bowl of seafood Gumbo and some Grouper. The girlfriend had their Shrimp & Grits. The food was very good and we both left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.

Might take a ride up to Destin tomorrow. After sleeping in, of course.

It’s Monday. Now that’s much better! We’ve been down in Panama City Beach for a couple days now and the weather has been beautiful. We spent the day out in the sun yesterday enjoying the pristine beach and gorgeous Gulf of Mexico waters. Even my belly is happy with plenty of seafood, margaritas, and Yuengling. I can’t tell you how much I needed to get out of the Illinois cold.

Time to pour another beer, pop some corn, and settle in for the Oscars!
