It’s Monday. We have just one holiday remaining—New Year’s Eve. The final holiday in the “holidays” is coming and like everything else this year it will be anything but normal. Big NYE parties are frowned upon so what is there to do besides stay at home and bang pots and pans together? People still do that, ya know. As for me, I really don’t know. Honestly, I don’t seem to care either. This is such a strange time. I feel like maybe it’s best just to get it behind us.
Had a pretty good weekend. I ate way to much, though. Having all those Christmas goodies and leftovers in the house was probably not a good idea, but I did enjoy it. I was lazy but I did manage to catch a couple of movies. The first was Pixar’s latest called “Soul”. When it comes to animation and heart, nobody does it better than Pixar. Then there was Pete Davidson’s semi-biopic “The King of Staten Island” which was also very good but probably not for everybody.
And then there was the Bears game against the Jaguars. Holy crap was that ever a slaughter! And for once, it was the Bears doing the slaughtering! Just for context it should be noted that the Jaguars have won only one game this year, but damn! The Bears playoff hopes seem possible until you look ahead and see that they have to beat—of all teams—the Packers next Sunday.
Back to work everybody…

It’s Sunday! I imagine all the stores have been dealing with the thousands of shoppers looking to return or exchange the crap they don’t want for the crap they do want. Thankfully I am not one of those people. I don’t have any gifts that need to be returned so I can spend another day being lazy!
A Sight to Behold!
It’s Tuesday. One of my readers was seeing double at his local sports bar. No, not from too many beers, but out in the parking lot where a pair of beautiful new C8 Corvettes were parked! One in Rapid Blue and the other in Accelerate Yellow, both with black racing stripes. With only 20,368 built in 2020, they’re still fairly rare to spot out in the wild. And seeing two of them together, well, who knows what the odds are on that. Very cool. I probably would’ve forgotten why I was even there!

Hey Keep, I’m a long time fan and contributor and pulled into my local sports bar to grab some dinner to go and saw this in the parking lot. Literally two brand new Corvettes side by side. Someone bought themselves some awesome Christmas presents. -Matt
