It’s Friday! If there’s one thing that you can count on, it’s that Christmas advertising will begin earlier every year. And 2020 is no exception because I just saw the Hershey’s Kisses Christmas Bells commercial—twice already! Christmas ads for Target, Cracker Barrel, Audi, Buick, and GMC are already playing in full force. And I haven’t even finished all my candy corn yet.

Coronavirus numbers are way up in all 50 states as hospitals struggle to handle the surge. Here in Illinois restaurants are supposed to be limited to carry-out only, but in my neighborhood owners are completely ignoring that. People are packed inside with very few wearing masks. And with Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s only going to get worse. So happy holidays everyone!

It’s Thursday. Fort Lauderdale got slammed recently from Tropical Storm Eta resulting in widespread flooding. It was a big deal for residents with the exception of one Lamborghini owner who tore through the high water bypassing stalled vehicles like a boss! Lamborghini or submarine, you decide.

It’s Wednesday. Just thought I’d take a moment to remind everyone that it’s Veterans Day and to say thank you to all who have served in our military. No matter what your political affiliation, we can all come together to honor those who have served our country, in war or peace, and thank them for their sacrifices.
