It’s Saturday! When the pandemic hit last year it sent everyone searching for video conferencing software. For some reason people gravitated to a practically unheard of application called Zoom, while the far more established Skype was left in the dark. Where’s the love for Skype?

It’s Friday! The weekend is here and I’m looking forward to a warmup. After several miserable rainy & windy Illinois days, I hear that we’re in for some warmer weather over the weekend. That’ll be a nice change because the weather has been crap here ever since I returned from Arizona last Monday. 

And speaking of Arizona, I have some extra terrestrial photos from our trip to share with all of you today. Due to a wicked snowstorm in the mountains, we decided to avoid 40 to the north and take a southern route via 10 into New Mexico. We stayed the night in Roswell and the next morning we decided to have a look around. As you can see from the photos, there were plenty of little green alien men scattered throughout the city and even in residential neighborhoods. Many of the businesses on main street have fully embraced the alien motif. For instance, Dunkin’ has a massive alien holding up their sign. There were also places like Stellar Coffee, Alien Zone, Roswell UFO Spacewalk, the International UFO Museum and Research Center, and even a place called UFO Self Storage. Then there were some less obvious like the alien eyes on the street lights. Those were a nice touch.
