It’s Friday! Here in Illinois the weather has been mild lately but we have cooler temperatures and rain moving in for the weekend. Trees are beginning to turn and Halloween is only 30 days away. Welcome to October everyone.

While I hate all things winter, I really enjoy October. The smell of burning leaves, pumpkin carving, making pumpkin seeds, driving around checking out Halloween decorations, Halloween candy—I love it all. Sure, it gets cold but I’m okay with that as long as I have all those other things. On November 1st I’m back to hating the cold and bitching about it constantly.

So, if you happen across a cool Halloween display, snap a few photos and send ’em my way. If I like ’em then I’ll feature them right here on my site. The more ghoulish and creepy the better!

It’s Thursday. Drone technology continues to amaze me. This Star Wars themed lightshow featuring 200 choreographed drones was seen in the sky at the Oakland A’s – New York Yankees game on August 27th. It’s a simple but very impressive display. One thing is certain, this technology will only continue to evolve and improve.

It’s Wednesday. Last week you may remember that I  attended a Plane & Car Show out at the Joliet Municipal Airport. I took so many photos that I had to split them up into two parts. The ones featured today are the second of two parts. As you’ll see from the photos below, it was an awesome show with plenty of automotive (and aircraft) goodness to be seen. Enjoy the photos!
