It’s Sunday! With Roe v. Wade recently overturned by the Supreme Court, this clip from George Carlin’s 1996 HBO special has been resurfacing on the net. The man had a killer wit and an uncanny ability to see through the bullshit. Strange how accurate this clip remains after 26 years.

It’s Saturday! When I was a kid I used to play the Floor Is Lava game with my sister and cousins all the time. It was a great indoor game that could be played at just about anyone’s house. And, now there’s even a Floor Is Lava series on Netflix where teams of three compete against other teams in a young adult version of the game.

In the video featured above, Daniel LaBelle is pro material. He effortlessly swings off doors, climbs over walls, and jumps off furniture like Spiderman. Okay, maybe not quite like Spiderman.

It’s Friday! I’ve been watching the Jan. 6 committee hearings and have found them quite revealing so far. Yesterday’s focused on the pressure then-President Donald Trump and his allies put on the Justice Department to help overturn the 2020 election. Powerful stuff. And much of the most critical testimony is coming from high-level republicans, which just makes it even sweeter.
