It’s Wednesday. One of my readers recently donated one of his paintings to his parent’s Corvette Club. It was auctioned off as a fund raiser and brought in $330. Hey Keep. Must have been a big weekend for vette shows. My parents are members of the Lincoln, Nebraska and they just had their vette show. I was not able to attend but I did donate a painting I did so they could auction off to raise funds. Attached. Just thought I would share and that you might dig it. I was washing my coffee mug and read the label. I think you’ll see what I noticed. I don’t know if you think it’s good enough to post but I know you like odd stuff so I hope it’s good for a chuckle.

It’s Monday. We got lucky and had some really nice weather over the weekend. And the first thing that comes to mind on a nice day is to hop in the Vette and take it for a spin. We took a ride along the river and visited some friends. While we were out, I noticed that a lot of people were taking advantage of the nice weather to start putting up their Halloween decorations. That was a nice surprise. Maybe I’ll feature a few more photos later in the week.

On Saturday night we went to a nearby Brew Fest for some fantastic BBQ, local beers, and live music. I can’t think of a better combo! We had a blast and really enjoyed the night.

I had a decision to make Sunday afternoon. Do I ruin my day watching the Bears get their asses kicked the Chiefs, or do I watch the Nascar race in Texas? Yeah, not a hard decision. I watched the race, of course. Later that night I checked the score, and as expected, the Bears got their asses kicked 10-41. So glad I didn’t watch!
