It’s Friday! Thanks to Tuesday being a holiday, this week really flew by. I’ve got nothing planned for the weekend and that sounds just right to me. Hopefully we’ll have some warm weather but without all the nasty storms this time.

It’s Thursday. Today I have a couple photos of an 1975 Corvette Stingray.  This beauty in Orange Flame was seen out in the wild by Peter, a Canadian reader who spotted it sitting in front of a Tim Horton’s. It has aftermarket wheels and glass T-tops but otherwise appears original. When I was still in high school, my Dad bought a 1975 Corvette and my friends and I had a whole lot of fun in it. We spent a lot of time out in it and enjoyed every minute. Thanks for taking the time to send in the photos, Peter!

Note the ‘Historic’ plate. In beautiful condition current owner purchased from original owner ten years ago. All original. Never been out in the ‘orrid white stuff’…..

It’s Wednesday. Okay, it’s time to do the post Independence Day finger check. Count ’em out… 7…8…9…10. Congratulations, they’re all still there!

I hope everyone had a good 4th. Mine was all about the cookout. The girlfriend and I spent the afternoon at my parent’s place where the food is always aplenty. There were burgers, brats, Italian sausage, and lots to drink. And as always, the food was spectacular and everyone had a good time.

We had some serious heat over the past few days. We didn’t get triple digit heat, but it was easily in the 90s with a fair amount of humidity as well. Supposedly storms are on their way today and will cool things down significantly.
