It’s Monday. The girlfriend and I had some errands to run Saturday evening. After getting those done, we decided to take a spin around the neighborhood and check out some of the Halloween decorations. I turned on channel 107 Scream radio on Sirius/XM and it was windy, lightly raining, and chilly which made for a perfect spooky season mood. We were out for a couple hours and found all kinds of really cool displays. This year anything giant was popular. Twelve foot skeletons, eighteen food ghouls, and twenty foot demons towered over everything. I wish they had stuff like this back when I was a kid. If I wanted a creepy scarecrow, I had to create it myself by stuffing a pair of old jeans and a shirt with leaves from the yard. Anyway, we had a great time driving around and we look forward to at least one more spooky cruise before Halloween.

Oh, I didn’t watch the Bears game, but I heard Fields was injured. And, of course, they lost.

It’s Friday! The weekend is here once again and here in Illinois it looks like we’re in for a wet & chilly one. That sucks because the last outdoor car show of the season, the Fall Classic, is this Sunday. Even if it stops raining, the high temperature is only supposed to be in the low 50s on Sunday. Wet and cold aren’t exactly preferred conditions for an outdoor show held in a soggy field.

A couple years ago there was a woman that I knew only as Ms. B who used to send in photos of herself. Actually, I think it may have been her boyfriend who sent them in—I’m not totally sure. Anyway, her emails suddenly stopped and I haven’t heard from either of them in nearly two years. Some of her last photos were Halloween themed, so I thought I’d rerun two of them today for Spooky Season. And who knows, maybe one or both of them are still out there and I can find out why they suddenly went dark.

Skaylor Swift and Skeleton Kelce are having a scary good time in Zionsville

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the talk of one Indiana neighborhood — and not for reasons one would likely expect!

An Indiana Swiftie got creative when it came to the Halloween decorations for her home.

Just as October kicked off, 12-foot skeletons of Swift, 33, and Kelce, also 33, went up outside Michal Owens’ home in Zionsville, Indiana.

Owens spoke to CBS 4 Indianapolis on Saturday about how her “Skaylor Swift” creation is drawing in crowds.

Standing roughly the height of two humans, the Swift-inspired huge skeleton is stylish. Draped over the bones is a two-piece metallic blue skirt and top meant to model one of her many onstage outfits.

Skaylor even has a blue “Bejeweled” microphone in the palm of one of her hands and blonde hair to match the “Enchanted” songstress’ signature hair.

But how does one find enough hair for a 12-foot skeleton? Owens was happy to explain.

“The hair was a big deal. That’s three wigs sewn together. They had to have the bangs,” she shared.

The attraction has caused many in the area to stop by and marvel at the pretend “Shake it Off” singer, and although Owens is fine with the added eyes on her property, ultimately, she wants drivers to be safe.

“There’s definitely people stopping. We would rather them pull in the driveway than stop dead on the road and drive off like they’re in a getaway car,” she told CBS 4.

“We’re big Taylor Swift fans,” the resident added.

Once Skaylor arrived, it was only right that she had a proper “Love Story.” Owens soon added a 12-foot skeleton inspired by Kelce to the mix.

The faux NFL star stands just feet away from Skaylor, rocking a Kansas City Chiefs football jersey and his now famous mustache.

“The eighty-seven jersey and the mustache are new additions this week,” Owens quipped as she talked to the news outlet.

Along with the skeleton couple are three smaller ones stacked on top of each other holding a Taylor Swift 2024 presidential banner.

Owens didn’t explain how she found a jersey large enough to fit the humongous version of Kelce but it’s worth noting that since the real tight end has been spotted with the Grammy winner that sales for his jersey have increased.

“Yesterday, Travis Kelce was one of the top 5 selling NFL players and saw a nearly 400% spike in sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites, including NFLShop.com,” a Fanatics spokesperson told PEOPLE after Swift attended the Chiefs’ Sept. 24 game against the Chicago Bears.

In late July, the pro athlete opened up on his New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast with his brother Jason about a failed attempt to pass his phone number to the pop star.

After he revisited the topic during a guest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show podcast last month, Swift eventually gave Kelce a chance.

The “Eras Tour” headliner cheered Kelce on beside his mom Donna Kelce on Sept. 24.
