NASCAR 3-Peat

It’s Monday. One, two, three-peat! Tyler Reddick made NASCAR history Sunday at the Circuit of the Americas, becoming the first driver in NASCAR Cup Series history to win the first three races of a season. Behind the wheel of a Toyota co-owned by basketball legend Michael Jordan, Reddick kicked things off with a victory in the Daytona 500, followed it up with a win at Atlanta Motor Speedway, and then backed it up by converting the pole into a road course win at Circuit of the Americas. As Reddick crossed the finish line, Jordan was right there with the 23XI pit crew, celebrating with high fives as the team sealed a historic three-race sweep. Can he keep the streak alive and make it four in a row? We’ll find out next Sunday when the series rolls into Phoenix Raceway!

Thankfully, the snow we were supposed to get over the weekend never materialized. The girlfriend’s still battling that nasty cold, but somehow I’ve managed to dodge it so far. I’m just hoping my luck doesn’t run out anytime soon.
