It’s Tuesday. Holy crap it’s sweltering hot with something like 6 million percent humidity! No kidding, our temperatures here in Illinois  are in the upper 90s but it’s the ridiculous humidity levels that have made it truly miserable to be outside for any length of time. Nobody in our neighborhood is outdoors. If you do go out there, all you can hear is the collective symphony of air conditioners running at high speed. Our poor pooch, Abby, doesn’t understand why we can’t go out and play in the yard. She’s a Sheepdog and Poodle mix, so she’s built more for a cold climate. Running around out in this heat could easily overwhelm her, so I’ve been putting off playtime until the sun is nearly down.

If you’re also in the heat, stay hydrated and seek relief whenever possible. Ack!
