It’s Tuesday. I love it when my readers send in photos of their toys and that’s exactly what I have for today. Featured today is a 1997 Chevrolet ½ ton pickup owned by Darryl. It’s a damn nice looking truck that’s still rolling with its original engine and 190,000 miles on the clock. The paint is good and the Cragar SS wheels give it a classic look. I bought this 97 Chevy ½ ton , all paint and body original in 2006 from a government sale with 261,00kms (161,000 miles) and only 1 driver drove it until the sale.
I put a new front end under it at 280,000kms (173,000 miles) and bucket seats. It now has 307,000kms (190,000 miles) on the V6 4.3L original engine, transmission and differential. She still rides and drives like new and the A/C still works great.
