It’s Thursday. This time of year you never know what Mother Nature is going to throw at you, so it’s important to be prepared for anything. One of my readers recently sent in a photo of an action-figure set that shows how they handle winter in Pennsylvania.

First and foremost is having the proper winter attire. The Pennsylvania action figure is bundled up in a warm hoodie, gloves, boots, and a pair of shorts. Because if your legs are numb, the cold can’t hurt you.

But clothing alone won’t carry you through a Keystone State winter. You also need the right gear. This Pennsylvanian action-figure comes fully loaded with the essentials: a lawn chair, a package of Mrs. T’s Pierogies, pizza, a snow shovel, a bag of ice melt, a gallon of milk, two bottles of hard liquor, and of course, two cases of Yuengling.

Is it a survival kit? A tailgate? A snow day starter pack? In Pennsylvania, the answer is yes.
