It’s Tuesday. The photos featured today were sent in by Steve, a reader who knew this horrific scene would probably make me cry. Investigators say that an SUV struck the corner of a house in Pike Creek, Delaware on Sunday night, hitting two classic vehicles on a lift in the garage. The SUV continued going until it came to rest after hitting the house next door. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital for treatment but is expected to be okay.

The two vehicles that were on the rack are a red convertible C3 Corvette and a blue Nova, both of which appear to have significant damage.

I don’t know about you, but if I were the owner of those two cars, I’d be well on my way to the hospital to pay a visit to that SUV driver.

It’s Monday. It’s a winter wonderland out there. Woke up Sunday morning to the horrid white stuff falling from the sky. Funny, because it was 81 degrees just a couple days ago and now it’s snowing. Is it Spring? I don’t even know anymore.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! In Chicago the river has once again been dyed a bright green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. As they say, everyone is Irish today so I’ll be having my Corned Beef later for dinner tonight. No cabbage, though—that stuff is nasty!

It’s Friday! Ever since I got back from Florida we’ve been having some unusually warm weather. We’ve been enjoying temperatures in the 60s and today it’s expected to reach the low 70s. That’s exceptional for March in Illinois. Of course, you can’t have the good without the bad, so tonight Mother Nature has plans to mix it up with severe storms, high winds, and tornados.
