It’s Thursday. It may be cold and icy outside but the photos featured today are sure to warm the soul. One of my readers caught this beautiful 1963 Riverside Red coupe out in the wild. He sent the photos in back in October, but somehow they slipped out of my focus and time marched on. Not wanting them to go to waste, I thought I’d share them with all of you today.
Coming in at over 60 years old, this ’63 StingRay seems to be in fantastic shape and appears to be stock with the exception of the classic Cragar wheels. The ’63 is popular among collectors mainly because it’s the first year of the second generation body style. It is also the only year to feature the split rear window. Chevrolet produced only 21,513 Corvettes in 1963, so they’re not exactly plentiful. But if you attend a few car shows over the summer then there’s a good chance you’ll see one.

Keep, I saw this vette at the bank in Georgetown Ohio on Friday. I waited around to talk to the owner but they must have been in a meeting or something. I finally gave up and left. 1962? You are the expert, i’m more into the 68 & 69 Z 28s. Still a very sweet ride, in excellent shape. I’d be afraid to take it to a crowded parking lot such as that. Too easy to get a door ding or other minor scratch damage. More to come over the next couple texts, the phone compresses the images too much… A fan since 96.
