It’s Tuesday. I checked out the car show at the Crossroads Festival on Sunday afternoon. It was extremely hot & humid, which is likely the reason why there were only about 40 cars that showed up. Still, there was automotive goodness to be seen, so enjoy the gallery below!

It’s Monday. It was a hot weekend. So hot that even skeletons were looking for ways to keep cool. A buddy and I were heading home from a movie when we came across this unexpected display. Apparently, these skeletons were enjoying their off-season by partaking in some summer activities. Dressed up in their best summer attire, they really know how to beat the summer heat and humidity. We got a good laugh out of it before snapping this photo.

Caught the Deadpool & Wolverine movie Saturday afternoon. If you’re a Deadpool fan then you already know what to expect—extreme violence and raw humor—and it did not disappoint. I loved every second of it.

I also attended a car show over the weekend. I’ll feature the photos in tomorrow’s update.

It’s Friday! Whew! It has been a warm and extremely humid week here in Illinois. I can take the heat but the humidity just drains the life outa me. I’ll be happy when it moves the hell out of here.

I’ve been catching the Olympics at night while working to migrate all my data to the new Surface Studio 2 Plus. While the summer games have been good, I’ve discovered that I greatly prefer the winter games. I know, I generally hate all things winter and that hasn’t changed. However, when it comes to the Olympic games, I find the winter events more interesting. Give me Alpine Skiing, the Luge, Cross-country Skiing, Ski Jumping, Snowboarding, Skeleton, and even Curling! I’m not saying that I would be out there doing any of those things, but I love watching ’em!

I could really go for some racing right now as we head into the second week without Nascar. Definitely feelin’ those withdrawal symptoms.
