Can It Be?

It’s Monday. Rain, wind, sun, clouds. Repeat. That’s basically what we had for weather over the weekend. I remember back when I was a kid, August was hot and dry. These days it’s cooler and wet. I miss the heat and a good drought.

The Bears played their third preseason game Saturday afternoon against the Bengals and won 27 to 3. They won the two previous preseason games as well. Our new rookie quarterback, Caleb Williams, is kicking some major ass out on the field. And even more of a surprise, the rest of the team is killing it as well. The media, when not talking about what jacket Simone Biles is wearing, are already talking playoff possibilities. It’s far too early for that kind of talk or even thinking that far ahead. But, for now things look good and there appears to be hope.

They play the final preseason game on Thursday against the Chiefs. Looking forward to another win… hopefully.

Morris Cruise Night – Part 2

It’s Friday! Today I have the second part of automotive goodness from last weekend’s Cruise Night in Morris, Illinois. As I mentioned the other day, they had a record turnout of over 1,000 cars in attendance. I took over 60 photos at the show and would’ve had many more if my camera battery hadn’t crapped out roughly halfway through the show! Even still, it was a fantastic show with the next one coming on September 14th.

Double babes, double jokes, and a killer gallery of automotive goodness is on tap for today. Enjoy!

Clean!

It’s Thursday. It was an absolutely gorgeous day yesterday. It was so nice that I decided to take the afternoon off and spent it outside washing up the Vette. The sun was out, my music was cranked, and I had a blast. I’ve been thinking about picking up some new wheels to replace the stock ones. Maybe a set of C6 Z06 wheels with some new Goodyear F1 rubber. I had almost convinced myself to buy them until I accidentally destroyed my Studio 2 computer a couple weeks ago. Still can’t believe I did that! Anyway, it’s getting late in the season so the new wheels and tires may have to wait until the spring.
