It’s Monday. Got together with a buddy on Saturday and hung out down on the Des Plains river. It was a warm afternoon but there was only a moderate amount of river traffic. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t more activity, being in the middle of summer n’all, but it still felt good being out there having a few beers and just taking it easy.
I was mostly lazy on Sunday. That seems to be my thing lately. After I caught the Nascar race at Indy, which was an awesome race, I did manage to get a small amount of work done. And then there’s Abby. We’re now up to playing ball three times a day now. It’s fun, and she absolutely loves it, but daaamn.

Old-Time Goodness
It’s Tuesday. It has been said that everything old is new again. Well, though insightful, that’s just not the case today. One of my readers was checking out a car show in southern Indiana and came across a true piece of automotive history. Yeah, it may be old, but what it lacks in modern technology, it more than makes up for in character. And that’s pretty cool. Check out the gallery below.

Keep, Not your hot rod, not your souped up sports car but in its day, I’m sure it was well received. Saw this in southern Indiana car show. The owners were great fun to talk to. Check out the spark plug wires and chickens. Hope you like it. -G
