This ultra-rare fully documented Corvette recently went on the auction block in Glendale, Arizona, and sold for $1,650,000! This Sunfire Yellow L88 Corvette is the only known 1967 Corvette L88 to have its original engine intact. This also the only original-motor C2 L88 to have earned multiple awards, including multiple NCRS Top Flights and the NCRS Duntov award, Bloomington Gold certification, and the MCACN Triple Diamond. The car was also part of Bloomington Gold’s 2018 L88 Explosion.
The car famously underwent a 10-year restoration before being offered for $3.95 Million by Corvette Mike back in December 2019, and it’s also known to be the only ’67 L88 offered from the factory wearing Sunfire Yellow.
