It’s Monday. It was a rainy and gloomy weekend here in Illinois. We went out Friday night looking at Christmas lights and came across a very strange display. As we got closer we realized that what we were looking at was a holiday blow-up Sasquatch! He was tall, wore a Santa hat, and carried a Christmas tree over his shoulder. I’ve seen some odd displays before, but this was the first Sasquatch. I had no idea that such a thing even existed. I checked the Internet and sure enough, you can buy a holiday Sasquatch of your own for around $180. My question is, out of the vast array of Christmas decorations currently on the market, who decided that what was missing was a full sized holiday Sasquatch? Too funny.
I caught the Bears and Browns game on Sunday and while the Bears played fairly well, they lost 17-20. It was a shame because they could’ve won that game.
We also caught a bunch of holiday movies over the weekend like Christmas Vacation, White Christmas, Polar Express, A Christmas Carol, and childhood classics like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. I still need to see The Year Without a Santa Claus and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.
